Before throwing the dyed clothes in the trash, it's worth trying to save them. Interestingly, it might turn out to be much easier than it seems. It turns out that everything we need can be found in our own kitchen.
A simple and cheap way for dyed clothes
Before doing laundry, you should first properly sort the clothes. Unfortunately, sometimes even that may not be enough, especially for white-colored items. It happens that after the washing machine finishes its cycle, we take out dyed clothes. So, how do we deal with it?
You just need to know a simple trick with a dishwasher tablet, which can help restore the whiteness of the clothes. Simply throw it into the washing machine with the dyed items and wash them. According to the influencer who shared this trick, this is enough to enjoy your bright clothes again.
What about dyed, white clothes?
The influencer also shared another method on Instagram that can help restore the whiteness of dyed clothes. It turns out that milk can also be helpful in this case.
"Soak the dyed laundry in a milk bath (1 quart of milk per 1 gallon of water) and leave it overnight. Then wash as usual."
Citric acid can also be quite helpful. Add it to clothes previously soaked in warm water. After about two hours, you just need to wash the laundry in the washing machine, and it's ready.
