The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari admitted on Thursday morning that warning signals from intelligence sources were noticeable before Hamas' attack on Israel on Saturday. This information was reported by the Times of Israel, which quoted Hagari.

Rear Admiral Hagari explained that there was no direct warning of the impending attack. Nevertheless, in the hours preceding the attack, certain signs from the Gaza Strip were noticed. These signs were based on various signals that came from intelligence sources - said Hagari.

The intelligence had information

The IDF spokesman added that intelligence officers who received this information discussed it during a meeting on Friday evening. They planned to return to the subject the next day, to analyze the situation more thoroughly.

- We will investigate this thoroughly - announced Adm. Hagari, highlighting the IDF's commitment to understanding the situation accurately.

The spokesperson for the Israeli armed forces also released information about the Hamas terrorists who participated in the attack. According to Hagari, groups ranging from one to two thousand fighters managed to return to the Gaza Strip after the attack. This information shows the scale of Hamas's involvement in Saturday's attack and underscores the seriousness of the situation.
