The woman's younger brother, a teenager, severed contact with her following a disagreement about the name selection for her upcoming baby. The expectant mother stands her ground, failing to comprehend why such a minor issue would upset her brother.

Debate over the child's future name

At a family gathering, the woman announced that she and her husband had decided on a name for their unborn child. They settled on the name Kate for their daughter. Unfortunately, the woman's teenage brother and his girlfriend did not take this choice kindly. Kaitlyn, the 15-year-old girlfriend, argued that the name Kate bore too much similarity to hers.

Hysterics ensued when the brother's girlfriend heard that the pregnant woman wasn't willing to rethink her name selection. The pregnant woman defended her choice by pointing out the youth's short-term relationship. Her remark further incensed the girlfriend, who felt unwelcomed by her boyfriend's family, leading the woman's brother and mother to step into the dispute.
