DHL cargo plane crashes into Vilnius residential building, leaving one dead

According to preliminary information, at least one person was killed, and another was injured after a DHL cargo plane crashed into a residential building while flying from Leipzig.

Lithuanian broadcaster LRT reported that a cargo plane belonging to the logistics company DHL crashed into a residential building near the airport in Vilnius early Monday morning.

The two-story residential building, which was hit by the plane from Leipzig, caught fire. Emergency services evacuated 12 people from the building, and they were not injured.

Rescue services were dispatched to the scene of the incident.
