Delta plane crashes in Toronto, 18 injured, 3 critical

An airplane operated by the American airline Delta Airlines crashed while attempting to land at Toronto's international airport in Canada. According to the morning reports, 18 people were injured, and three of them are in critical condition. A recording made by one of the passengers of the ill-fated flight appeared on social media.

The dramatic events unfolded on February 17 at Toronto Pearson International Airport, when severe weather conditions prevailed. The Delta Airlines plane overturned during landing.

There were 80 people on board, including four crew members. Fortunately, there is no information about fatalities, but 18 people were injured. Three of them, including a child, are in critical condition.

Photos and recordings from the accident site appeared on social media. They show the massive aircraft lying upside down on the runway.

Plane crash in Toronto: Passenger's dramatic recording

One of the passengers of the ill-fated flight posted a short video made just after the crash. In the first few seconds, we see the woman hanging upside down, still strapped in.

In the following seconds, evacuating passengers can be seen. "I just survived a plane crash, oh my God," the emotional woman says.

Another passenger posted a video on Facebook documenting what happened right after the tragic landing. It shows firefighters spraying water on the aircraft that overturned. The mentioned passenger reported to CNN that before landing, nothing indicated that anything unusual would happen.
