I fully understand that on some evenings, we may lack the energy or desire to whip up a complex dish. That's exactly when having reliable recipes at your disposal becomes invaluable. They enable you to effortlessly prepare something tasty and nutritious.

Chicken skewers marinated in a delectable blend of herbs and spices are the perfect choice for such occasions. Plus, they're baked in the oven, so your kitchen appliance does half the work. The time you save can instead be devoted to some well-deserved relaxation. Isn't that the ideal scenario?

Chicken skewers from the oven - a weekly staple in my kitchen. They're that delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breast fillets,
  • 2 oz of melted butter,
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet paprika,
  • 1 tablespoon of dried garlic,
  • ⅓ cup of chopped dill,
  • 1.5 teaspoons of salt,
  • ½ teaspoon of pepper,
  • juice of half a lemon.

Preparation steps:

Step 1. The preparation begins with the chicken. First, clean and thoroughly dry the meat. Next, lay it out on a cutting board and cut it into smaller, skewer-friendly pieces.

Step 2. Place the chicken pieces into a large bowl and combine with the melted butter, finely chopped dill, and the spices - dried garlic, sweet paprika, pepper, salt, and lemon juice. Add oil as well. Mix everything together well to ensure the flavors meld beautifully.

Step 3. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto wooden skewers, grouping them onto three sticks at a time for stability.

Step 4. Arrange the skewers on a baking tray, ensuring no piece of chicken touches the surface directly. This setup guarantees even cooking on all sides.

Place the tray into a preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes at 392 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 5. Serve the delicious skewers with a vibrant salad. Bon appétit!
