An explosion occurred in the Yavoriv region, near the border with Poland within the Lviv region. This region is home to a military base.

In the capital, Kyiv, a missile struck a residential block, sparking a fire. Visuals from the scene of impact have since gone viral. The Lukyanivska metro station in the city also suffered damage.

There were reports of explosions in Kharkiv and Cherkasy as well. The Mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, reported during the night that "the city is under intense missile fire".

The chief of the military garrison in Kharkiv, Serhii Melnyk, revealed that the Russians carried out attacks using Kh-22 missiles and S-300 air defense systems.
