Danny Drinkwater's career ended in October 2023. Despite his great success in winning the Premier League with Leicester in the 2015/2016 season, his football journey wasn’t rich in trophies, and its conclusion was quite sad.
The footballer struggled with mental health issues. He was caught driving under the influence of alcohol and also got into a fight outside a nightclub, during which he suffered ankle ligament injuries. As a Chelsea player, he earned 120,000 pounds per week. However, he hasn’t been doing well financially after his career ended.

In 2016, he was a pillar of Leicester City, with which he won the English Championship. Then, his career collapsed.
