Daniel Radcliffe was forced to respond to speculation about the role of Wolverine in Marvel. The actor's words may not please fans of Wolverine.

Every comic book fan knows that the original Wolverine and the movie version are two different entities. In screen adaptations, this character is played by the handsome and tall Australian, Hugh Jackman. However, the original is a completely different beast - a wild, gruff, and short individual from Canada. Given that Jackman is now 55 years old, Marvel fans are demanding that new X-Men adventures be filmed with a different actor in the role of Wolverine.

Moreover, they have been saying for years that they know who should portray the iconic hero. It is 34-year-old British actor Daniel Radcliffe, who everyone, of course, associates with the Harry Potter film series. As it happens, speculation about him has recently resurfaced due to his changed appearance.

In the series "Miracle Workers: End of Times," Radcliffe showed off a great physique. Many think it's the result of his preparations for the role of Wolverine in the Marvel cinematic universe.

However, the star debunked these rumors in a conversation with "Vanity Fair". - I packed on muscle because I'm obsessed with it and I want to... You've seen my parents - they look like fitness maniacs. So, it passed on to me. But no, it's not for Wolverine. I'm really flattered, but no - he explained.

These words reveal that Radcliffe is not particularly interested in entering another large franchise. The actor knows perfectly well that if he agreed, he would have to sacrifice at least 10 years of his life. If not more.

Jackman is a good example of this. He first took on the role of Wolverine in 2000. Although he supposedly bid farewell to the role in 2017, we will see him in "Deadpool 3" next year. And who knows if it will end there.
