The Czech army has received the final batch of 62 Nexter TITUS wheeled armored vehicles. The communication system in these vehicles is managed by the Fonet system, supplied by the Polish company WB Group.

The Nexter TITUS (Tactical Infantry Transport & Utility System) is a family of combat vehicles developed through Czech-French cooperation. It combines the features of a wheeled armored personnel carrier with the capabilities of a mine-resistant MRAP class vehicle.

The vehicle is based on the three-axle Tatra 817 chassis in a 6×6 configuration with steerable outer axles, developed by the Czech company Tatra. It is powered by a Cummins engine with 500 HP, allowing it to reach up to 68 mph speeds.

The French company Nexter contributed the armored body, whose modular armor can adjust resistance. According to the NATO standard STANAG 4569, protection levels range from 2 to 4.

In its heaviest armor variant, the vehicle can resist fire from large-caliber KPWT machine guns, which fire 14.5 mm rounds. These rounds are the main ammunition for Russian armored personnel carriers, such as the BTR family.

The vehicles have a roof-mounted, remotely operated Nexter ARX20 weapon station. Depending on the configuration, this station can be fitted with a 40-millimeter grenade launcher or a 20-millimeter automatic cannon. The vehicle has a three-person crew and can transport up to 12 dismounted soldiers.

The Nexter TITUS vehicles delivered to the Czech army include the Fonet communication system, an essential component WB Group provides. This system facilitates intercom communication, voice communication between cars, and data exchange from all vehicle sensors.

The Czechs ordered 62 vehicles delivered in command, fire control, and liaison variants. Besides the Czech army, Nexter TITUS vehicles are also used by the armed forces of Albania, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
