Of course, you can toss a cheese roll wrapped in aluminum foil and an apple in the backpack, as our moms used to do. However, if we want to encourage picky eaters to enjoy their meals or simply make their school day pleasant in a tasty way, it's worth ensuring that the feast begins as soon as the box is opened. Even the youngest household member will be tempted by such a set.
Ideas for school lunches
Children spend a significant part of their day at school. Not every place offers a tasty lunch, especially when dealing with a little picky eater. A few simple tricks, proven combinations, and a bit of creativity will ensure these lunchboxes always come back empty.
SET I
Ingredients:
- 3.5 ounces spaghetti,
- 6 tablespoons Bolognese sauce,
- 2 mini mozzarella balls,
- 4 peppercorns,
- 1 cherry tomato,
- 3 apple oatmeal cookies,
- 2 plums.
SET II
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of toast bread,
- 3 teaspoons strawberry jam,
- 1 granola bar,
- 1 tangerine,
- a handful of blueberries,
- 3 cookies,
- a handful of walnuts.
SET III
Ingredients:
- 6 mini waffles shaped like flowers,
- a handful of blueberries,
- 1 oatmeal fruit cookie,
- 1 apple.
Preparation:
SET I: Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions and combine it with the Bolognese sauce. Transfer to a box. Place the mozzarella balls on the pasta, using peppercorns to make eyes. Add quartered cherry tomatoes, halved plums, and oatmeal cookies for dessert.
SET II: Using a round cutter or glass, cut circles from the toast bread. Cut an additional small shape from a cookie cutter in one of the circles, such as a bear, star, or other animal. Spread one half of the bread with jam and place the other circle with the cut-out shape on top. Add blueberries, a peeled tangerine, and your favorite cookies to the box.
SET III: Cut shapes from waffles and toss them into the box. Add an apple (whole or sliced), an oatmeal cookie, blueberries, and walnuts.
