How to descale a dishwasher?
The filter and the bottom of the dishwasher are areas that require regular cleaning to ensure the appliance functions optimally. How should you go about it? First, empty the dishwasher and remove the filter. Wash it thoroughly with a sponge, then soak it in a solution of warm water with added baking soda and citric acid. Wait 10 minutes, then place the filter back in its position.
Once the filter is back in place, sprinkle the bottom of the dishwasher with 7 tablespoons of baking soda and 4 tablespoons of citric acid. Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil if you want a pleasant aroma to emanate from the interior. Finally, run the program at the highest temperature.
