Washing up after cooking is often disliked, especially when dealing with a burnt pan. In many cases, it is a tedious process. However, it is still possible to handle this problem. Here are our recommendations on how to get rid of stubborn dirt.

Burnt pan? You can easily solve this problem

Pans tend to burn quickly, both inside and out. Not everyone has a dishwasher at home, and even if we do, it sometimes isn't enough to remove the burnt-on residue. So what can you do? Here are some tips. They will greatly ease the cleaning of your pan.

First, check the manufacturer's recommendations for washing the pan. Some pans with ceramic or Teflon coatings are delicate and should not be scrubbed too hard. Doing this against the guidelines can easily damage the coating, making food preparation more challenging.

One of the home methods is preparing a baking soda paste. It is very simple to make. Pour six teaspoons of baking soda into the pan, adding 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide. Mix until you get a paste, which you spread evenly over the burnt-on areas. After 10 minutes, just wash off the paste, gently cleaning the pan.

Another effective solution is citric acid, an ingredient found in practically every kitchen. Add a teaspoon of citric acid to a small amount of water and bring it to a boil. Then, place the pan in another dish and pour the hot solution over the burnt bottom. Leave it for a few hours to allow the acid to work.

Afterward, wipe the surface with a clean cloth, wash with dish soap, and dry. Citric acid will remove the dirt and give your pan a shine. Importantly, this is a relatively durable solution.

Many people also use another mixture. After immersing the pan in hot water, simply add four tablespoons of vinegar. Once this solution is stirred, wait a few minutes and clean the stains with the soft side of a sponge. Afterward, rinse the pan and wash it with dish soap.
