Clint Eastwood, 94, shines at Jane Goodall event, defies retirement

The legendary actor and director, who should have been enjoying his well-deserved retirement long ago, evidently has no intention of quitting his work. While Clint Eastwood has rarely been seen at public events recently, he did make an exception for an old friend.

Clint Eastwood will turn 94 on May 31 and is in excellent shape. Guests at an event where Dr. Jane Goodall spoke could see this for themselves. The distinguished British primatologist, ethologist, and anthropologist is now holding a series of meetings to celebrate her 90th birthday.

Eastwood was one of the VIPs at Goodall's meeting in California. After the lecture, he settled comfortably in a chair and talked with the researcher, who, like him, is very active professionally despite being in her nineties.

This is what it looks like today

Clint Eastwood attended a meeting with Jane Goodall organized at the Sunset Cultural Center in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. Eastwood could feel like a host, as he was the mayor of this coastal town from 1986 to 1988.

The 93-year-old was wearing a gray zip-up hoodie, plaid shirt, and gray pants. He was happy to converse with his younger colleague, who turned 90 at the beginning of April.

Does not slow down

Clint Eastwood has acted in six movies over the last 20 years (the most recent being "Cry Macho" from 2021). During the same period, he directed as many as fifteen movies, including "Richard Jewell," "The Mule," "The 15:17 to Paris," "Sully." Currently, work is ongoing on his next film as a director. It will be a courtroom thriller titled "Juror #2." The cast will feature stars like Nicholas Hoult, Leslie Bibb, J.K. Simmons, Toni Collette, and Kiefer Sutherland.
