In the run-up to the holiday season, even people who aren't typically attentive to detail start to deep-clean their homes. Everyone wishes to spend these special moments in a cozy and clean environment suitable for both relaxation and hosting loved ones.

Fortunately, we have good news for you: Although the kitchen counter and dishes require daily maintenance, daily vacuuming isn't necessary. With our DIY cleaning solution, you can forget about dust for a fortnight. This solution will significantly reduce dust settlement intervals.

Despite rarely opening our windows in winter, dust accumulates in our homes. The presence of dust, prevalent throughout the year, creates challenges not only for the meticulous homeowners but also for those suffering from allergies or asthma, who need to remove it regularly.

Dark furniture, in particular, tends to highlight the layer of dust. Typically, we clean using antistatic agents to prevent dust from settling on surfaces. However, these agents often exude an irritating odor, pose harm to the environment and potentially trigger allergic reactions. A preferable alternative is a gentle, homemade cleaning solution.

Ever wondered why your home accumulates so much dust?

Dust that settles on furniture comprises various particles. It encompasses elements like sand and dirt tracked in from outdoors, shed skin, hair, pet fur, plant pollen, insect eggs, along with fungi, mites, bacteria, and mold spores. Home textiles like carpets, rugs, blankets, curtains, drapes, and bedding also contribute to dust accumulation.

Dust is a carrier of allergens. Thus, living with people susceptible to allergies or asthma requires regular cleaning. Fortunately, there's a way to simplify this task. You don't need to persistently clean every day. With the use of an antistatic cleaning solution, dust will settle on surfaces less frequently.

A homemade cleaning solution can help

A popular remedy to prevent dust accumulation is something you typically use for frying: oil or olive oil. Irrespective of their type, all liquid fats perform effectively in repelling dust. The homemade cleaning solution we recommend contains oil. This solution not only cleans but also preserves surfaces. It is versatile enough to be used to clean a car dashboard, among other things.
