Barrenman finds himself entangled in criminal intrigue by a mysterious woman who hires him as a private detective. The main character uncovers a corruption scandal at the city hall and decides to wage war against the corrupt officials.

The Independent reports that Chris Pine’s directorial debut was a flop. The film received terrible reviews, and viewers even walked out of theaters during the premiere. Pine, in preparation for his role, underwent a dramatic transformation. The "Star Trek" and "Wonder Woman" star is barely recognizable.

Coming from a family with acting roots, Chris Pine decided to honor the tradition. The actor has demonstrated his versatility more than once.
