The second season of "Arcane" was released recently and has already left a void in the hearts of many fans of the game and the series itself. The animation has been a huge hit from the start, both in terms of the show itself and the music created for it. First, it was Imagine Dragons, and now Twenty One Pilots and Stromae have had their time in the spotlight, all in close collaboration with the world known from "League of Legends."

Fans around the world are mourning the end of this beautiful adventure. Is "Arcane" one of the best animations of recent years? Absolutely. However, not everyone had the opportunity to watch the series as the writers and animators originally intended. In China, "Arcane" was subjected to strict censorship, which changed the ending and reduced the depth of relationships between characters.

Chinese censorship affects "Arcane"

In the Chinese version of the series, scenes between Vi and Caitlyn were censored, particularly those depicting physical closeness between the heroines. The ending was also altered: the girls do not sit next to each other or cuddle. In the censored script, it appears quite strange, as if they are communicating solely through their minds.

The Chinese regime has been censoring films and series for a long time. Storylines in titles such as "Fantastic Beasts," where a romantic relationship between Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald is suggested, as well as in titles like "Fight Club," "Django Unchained," and "Skyfall," have all been altered.
