Beijing also mentioned the "three principles of de-escalation." "This means that the battlefield should not expand, the war should not escalate, and neither side should allow provocations that lead to an escalation of hostilities," reads the statement from Chinese diplomacy.
"China will maintain contact with the international community and play a constructive role in facilitating a political resolution to the crisis," notes the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Beijing.
Ukraine's Kursk offensive. Kyiv's forces push ahead
Published recordings and Russian and Ukrainian reports from August 10 and 11 indicate that Kyiv's forces continue to move west and northwest in the Kursk region, according to the Institute for the Study of War based on geolocation data.
The American Institute notes that "Russian sources largely claim that Moscow's troops have stabilized the situation." However, photos and videos published online indicate that the Ukrainian offensive is not losing momentum.
According to the latest reports and findings based on video material appearing online, Ukrainian troops have reached the village of Giri, located over 12 miles southeast of Sudzha.
