Children in China lay bricks and cook food in kindergarten

The Nexta agency has shared a short video from a kindergarten in China. Practical classes for children there differ from those in our pre-school institutions. Young children in China are learning very practical skills.

Kindergarten classes in America are generally associated with carefree play, music, or art lessons. There are also storytelling sessions and outdoor free time.

The education system in China approaches this quite differently. The short video posted online shows how children spend their time in a local kindergarten. Wearing helmets and masks, they are given tools and learn very practical skills.

Chinese kindergarten classes: children learn to mix cement, lay bricks, and cook food What do you think of this education system? - reports the Nexta agency on the X platform.

In the video, you can see how a caregiver pours water for the children, which they then have to mix with cement. The adult helps with a large shovel, while the kids mix everything with plastic counterparts of the tools.

In the next scene, you see the children carrying cement in buckets and laying bricks under the watchful eyes of caregivers. Using the prepared mortar in the buckets, they build small hearths.

At the end of the video, you see how the completed hearth with a chimney is used to prepare food. Of course, everything is done by the little children under the watchful eyes of adults.

The European education system focuses on learning through play. However, the classes are largely aimed at the child's intellectual development. Issues of self-reliance are left to the family.
