Child suicide belts among items discovered in Hamas weapons depot, says Israeli army

The Hamas-occupied building was situated close to public utilities including a school, a hospital and a mosque. The Israeli army mentioned in a statement that they found numerous mortars, hundreds of grenades, and various intelligence documents within the hideout.

Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, spokesperson for the Israeli armed forces, announced on Saturday that their forces have seized or demolished approximately 30,000 explosive devices, anti-tank shells and anti-tank grenade launchers in the Gaza Strip to date.

According to Israeli authorities, since the commencement of military operations against Hamas on October 7, the organization has been accused of using hospitals and schools in Gaza as cover for military activities.

Hamas command centers reportedly play a significant role, being situated in various locations including the basement of Al-Shifa hospital. Hamas, on the other hand, denies these accusations and accuses the Israeli army of committing war crimes against the Palestinian civilian populace.
