Children love chicken meatballs, but adults never refuse a second helping either. It's one of those recipes you should have up your sleeve when you don't know what to eat for dinner. The combination of the meatballs with a creamy purée and a delicate cream sauce is the perfect answer to the eternal question, "What's for dinner?"

Chicken meatballs with sun-dried tomatoes is one of my favorite dinners. Although you can serve them with potatoes or rice, everyone loves perfectly creamy purée at my home. The meatballs are easy and quick to prepare, even if you don't have much time. They are so tasty that everyone reaches for seconds, and when trying them for the first time, they immediately ask for the recipe.

Although this dish is simple, it could easily land on the menu of many restaurants and quickly become a hit. It is perfect for both younger and older household members. The addition of sun-dried tomatoes enhances the flavor, making the meatballs anything but boring.

Ikea's iconic meatballs can be forgotten. This recipe definitely outshines them.

Ingredients:

  • 21 oz turkey or chicken breast
  • 1 wheat roll
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ⅓ cup chopped parsley
  • ½ onion
  • 3 oz sun-dried tomatoes in oil
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ⅓ cup wheat flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups broth
  • 5 oz cream cheese
