More and more people are deciding to buy a garden pool. This solution has one small drawback: heating the water. Even with good weather, it takes several hours for it to get pleasantly warm.
How can you speed up this process? You don't need special equipment. You only need one item, which you can buy at any toy store for no more than $6.
How to heat water in the pool?
Just set it up, fill it with water, and patiently wait. The water in the garden pool will not be ready for swimming immediately.
An electronic water heater can speed up this process, but it is expensive. However, another method doesn't require a significant financial investment. You only need a hula hoop, a pool noodle, and a large black garbage bag.
How do you do it? Insert the hula-hoop into the bag and stretch it as tightly as possible. Cut the foam pool noodle into four equal parts. Cut each of them lengthwise on one side to create a deep slit. Attach them to the hoop. For extra security, you can use tape.
Adjust the number of "heaters" to the size of your pool. Place them on the surface and wait a few hours. The black bag will attract sunlight, causing the water to heat up much faster.
Pour this into the water. It will be crystal clear
Contaminants accumulate on the surface of the pool every day, making the water murky. Bathing in such conditions is not very pleasant, and frequent water changes are costly and not eco-friendly.
How do you clean pool water? It's straightforward. First, disinfect the filters, then remove contaminants like leaves, branches, or insects.
Get a large package of ascorbic acid powder. You need 2 ounces per cubic yard of water. Pour it directly into the pool and wait a few minutes. The water will become crystal clear because ascorbic acid reduces iron levels, which causes cloudiness.
