The first reports of the Chat GPT outage surfaced around 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 23. According to DownDetector, an outage monitoring service, the issue affects users worldwide. The company behind this AI model is aware of the situation and is actively working to resolve the problem. However, the exact reason for the failure remains unclear.

Apart from the leading website where OpenAI offers Chat GPT, the mobile applications that use this artificial intelligence are also down. Users experiencing the outage, including those with a paid subscription, have expressed frustration. "Chat GPT isn't working; 24 dollars a month down the drain," one user commented on DownDetector.
