Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan still drag each other to court over their divorce. The actor has had enough and is publicly accusing his ex-partner of deliberately delaying the case's conclusion.

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, though legally separated in 2019 after eight years of marriage, are still engaged in a fierce legal battle. The former partners, whose story began on the set of the movie "Step Up," are proof that not all fairy-tale romances in Hollywood have happy endings. They are now fighting over money.

Another hearing on the division of assets after the divorce is supposed to take place in three months. However, as Channing Tatum reveals, his ex-wife has filed a motion in court to prevent the actor's current lawyers from handling the case. Tatum accuses his ex-wife of deliberately and somewhat absurdly acting to delay the process as much as possible. He added that Jenna should have no say over the law firm he uses.

Dewan, who filed for divorce in 2018, is currently in a financial dispute concerning, among other things, the profits from the "Magic Mike" franchise, to which she claims they have joint intellectual property rights. The actor acknowledged his ex-wife's point but does not agree that she is entitled to 50% of the franchise's value. He believes that he played the primary role in developing the "Magic Mike" series, including after their separation.

According to court documents, while they were married, the actor and producer achieved significant success with the film "Magic Mike," a project that Channing developed and partially funded during their marriage, utilizing family and marital resources.

The attempt to settle the matter through mediation seems fruitless, and Tatum accuses Dewan of ignoring the proposed legal resolution for months. Additionally, the actor is filing for reimbursement of $20,000 in legal fees incurred because of his ex.

Jenna Dewan, who already has two children with her fiancé Steve Kazee, is relentless in pursuing a clear division of assets and rights arising from their joint business ventures. Both sides have presented their lists of witnesses and evidence that aim to shed light on the actual state of affairs, including the profits from "Magic Mike" and other financial aspects of their shared life.
