Celine Dion's health continues to decline according to her sister

Despite hopes from fans worldwide for Dion's health to improve, recent reports unfortunately present a less positive outlook. The singer's sister, Claudette, has decided to go public, providing a new interview for 7 Jours. Regarding Dion's tough battle with the disease, she didn't have encouraging news for her sister's supporters.

"She's doing what she can, but she no longer has control over her own muscles. It's distressing because she's always been disciplined. She's always worked hard," Claudette shared.

Moreover, Celine's sister believes that Dion will perform before an audience again and sing as she used to. However, it remains uncertain when or if this will occur.

"The truth is that we all dream of her returning to the stage. But to what extent, that's uncertain. Vocal cords are muscles, but so is the heart. This is a rare scenario, affecting few people, thus more time is needed for scientists to explore this problem," counsels Dion's sister.

Remember, in a statement to Le Journal de Montreal, the star's sister confirmed that the disease is unfortunately progressing, as an effective cure has not yet been developed. However, Claudette remains hopeful for a good outcome.

"We haven't discovered a cure yet, but we haven't lost hope," she states.
