"Marty Supreme" is loosely based on the life of Marty Reisman, an undeniable talent in the 1950s. Reisman won the US men's singles championship twice, in 1958 and 1960, along with over 20 international and national titles. The film's plot chronicles Reisman's journey, from playing for bets in Manhattan to winning 22 championship titles, eventually becoming the oldest national sports tournament winner in racquets at 67.

Photos featuring the duo in action have surfaced online. These shots show Tyler, the Creator, driving one of the iconic yellow New York taxis with Chalamet in the passenger seat. Based on the life of the unconventional ping-pong champion Marty Reisman, the film holds many mysteries, and plot details remain undisclosed. However, fans can see Chalamet sporting a 1950s style, hinting that the film is set in that era.
