Ceasefire talks in Istanbul: Ukraine sets crucial objectives
On Monday in Istanbul, another round of talks between representatives of Russia and Ukraine will take place. On Sunday, Volodymyr Zelensky revealed who will chair the Ukrainian delegation and the three main objectives to be achieved.

- This is the second phase of talks between delegations from Russia and Ukraine; the first took place on May 16, also in Istanbul.
Zelensky spoke on social media about Monday's talks. Earlier, a meeting on the matter was held in Kyiv.
"First – a full and unconditional ceasefire. Second – the release of prisoners. Third – the return of abducted children. And in order to establish a reliable and lasting peace and ensure security, preparation of the meeting at the highest level. The key issues can only be resolved by the leaders. On Monday, our delegation will be led by Rustem Umerov," Zelensky announced on platform X.
"I heard reports from the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the General Staff, our intelligence agencies, and the Security Service of Ukraine. Our defense, our active actions, and our diplomacy," he emphasized.
Talks with Russia: Mobilization in Ukraine
The head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, emphasized earlier that Ukraine expects Russia to present a memorandum on a peace agreement.
Yermak assured that Ukraine is ready for a constructive discussion.
