On Tuesday evening, Gerard Pique took a severe fall from a platform during the Kings League Americas games. The footballer was headed towards the railing to interact with fans, for whom he was meant to sign a shirt, before the untimely accident occurred. The incident was met with amusement from some online users...

Gerard Pique's stage fall: Is it Karma?

While navigating the stage, Gerard Pique appeared lost in thought, not concentrating on his path forward and consequently fell into the ravine that separates the stage from the fans' railings. Eager to sign a shirt for a fan, the footballer unexpectedly found himself tumbling down. The crowd momentarily froze, peering over the railing. Thankfully, Pique was unharmed and sustained no injuries.

Pique's unfortunate mishap quickly went viral on social media, with fans of his ex-partner suggesting that this might be karma catching up to the footballer for his ill-treatment of Shakira.

“You can't disrespect the stage queen and expect the stage to respect you... Team Shakira! Shakira remains undefeated”, state amused users of the X service.
