Is beer a vital necessity?
Carlsberg, the world-renowned beer company, made a charitable donation recently to the people of Ukraine. They dispatched a donation of 24,000 cans of non-alcoholic beer to the embattled country. The cans were clearly labelled as a "zero" product to indicate that they were alcohol-free.
There were suggestions in the comment sections that the company is attempting to dispose of surplus drinks under the guise of a charitable act, with one person saying: "they produced this junk and they don't want to pay for disposal." On the other hand, one internet user gave it a positive spin: "It's actually great for them. They don't need alcohol, just hydration at the front and non-alcoholic beer is perfect for that."
