Can't wait for the third season of Bridgerton? You will have to arm yourself with patience
We don't have good news for "Bridgerton" fans. It was said that the third season would be seen yet this year, but even that approximate date is becoming less likely. The details on this were revealed by the star of the Netflix series, Adjoa Andoh.
The next installment of "Bridgerton" is one of the most anticipated Netflix premieres. It is known that filming has wrapped up, but the platform will probably not decide to show the whole thing this year. The ongoing actors' strike in Hollywood is to blame for all of this.
"Bridgerton" season three: when is the premiere?
The planned premiere date slipped past Lady Danbury from the series. Adjoa Andoh revealed in an interview with "Hello!" magazine during the Pride of Britain awards ceremony that series fans will only be able to see new episodes... next year.
– It's very satisfying, because we've waited so long for this. Given how this year has passed and that [third – ed.] season will be released next year, expectations will keep growing. I think people will be very pleased – said Andoh.
She also hinted in polite words, what we can expect in the next part.
– We will have some Colin and Penelope. We will have some action with Lady Whistledown. We will have some actions from Lady Danbury's side. More intrigues, more romances, more fantastic costumes and of course some hummingbird. If you like the series, you will get even more of these elements in the next season.
What is causing the delay of the third season of "Bridgerton"?
The release date of the next installment of the series was unknown for a long time. One day, information appeared on the profile of the Portuguese branch of Netflix, stating that it would debut on the platform in December of this year. However, the post was quickly deleted and the date was withdrawn.
The reason for the delay is likely the actors' strike, which prevents not only appearing in new productions, but also promoting those that have already been filmed. Such a strategy would be a major blow to "Bridgerton". It's not surprising that they decided to hold off on releasing the series, though of course fans likely have a different opinion on this matter. One thing is certain: fans of the series will wait as long as it takes.
