Diet is a key element in cancer prevention. Therefore, it is worth incorporating a few valuable products to help reduce cancer risk. Here is a list of the most valuable ones.

Garlic

Garlic is considered one of the most potent natural antibiotics used in traditional medicine for centuries. It is a treasure trove of valuable compounds and microelements. In addition to valuable vitamins and minerals, garlic contains diallyl sulfides that destroy cancer cells in the colon. Arginine, a potent antioxidant found in garlic, also acts destructively on free radicals and reduces the risk of cancer development. The best results can be achieved by consuming raw garlic after crushing or chopping it.

Green tea

Green tea is not only tasty but also has extremely health-promoting properties. This is mainly due to one compound, catechins, found in larger amounts in this tea. Research has shown that regular consumption of green tea reduces the risk of developing stomach, prostate, breast, and bladder cancers.

Grapes

Grapes (especially dark ones) and fruits such as blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, mulberries, and cranberries are rich in resveratrol. This chemical compound, belonging to the flavonoid group, has potent anticancer properties. However, this is not its only benefit. Additionally, it protects the circulatory system from atherosclerosis, coronary disease, and heart attacks. Resveratrol reduces the occurrence of cancer cells, blocks their development, and increases the effectiveness of chemotherapy.

Tomatoes

Lycopene, found in tomatoes, reduces the risk of diseases such as prostate, pancreatic, and breast cancer. However, it is not necessarily found in raw tomatoes. Most of this strong antioxidant is found in thermally processed vegetables; therefore, it is worth regularly consuming homemade tomato puree, paste, and juice to protect yourself from serious diseases.

Cruciferous vegetables

Cruciferous vegetables, such as cabbage, broccoli, turnip, radish, and cauliflower, are rich in glucosinolates, which protect against liver, breast, colon, and cervical cancer. These vegetables also contain many other beneficial compounds and valuable nutrients, such as vitamin C, calcium, selenium, magnesium, folic acid, and potassium.

Including these vegetables in your daily diet can significantly increase your immunity. They can be combined with many products, including meat and dairy.
