Details of the burglary at Keanu Reeves' residence
According to sources from TMZ, officers returned to the residence about five hours later (approximately 9:00 PM Eastern Time), responding to the activation of the home alarm. Upon reviewing the surveillance footage, police observed several men in ski masks forcefully entering the actor's house through a broken window.
Reports suggest the burglars stole a firearm from Reeves' home before making their escape. Reeves was not home at the time of the incident.
The identity of the initial caller remains unknown. Investigators suspect the call may have come from one of the burglars themselves. The Los Angeles Police Department and the actor's representatives have been contacted by "The Post" for comments, but there has been no response as yet.
This isn't the first time burglars have targeted Keanu Reeves' home. In 2014, a 40-year-old woman broke into his house and fell asleep in his library. Reeves himself found her, and she claimed she simply wished to meet the actor. Interestingly, it was her who later dialed 911.
Just a day later, a second woman entered his home through unlocked doors, while the actor was away. The intruder undressed and swam in his pool. The cleaning staff discovered her and notified the police.
Previously, a man claiming to be related to Reeves was banned from approaching the actor and his partner. Between November 5, 2022, and January 20, 2023, 38-year-old Bryan Keith Dixon trespassed into the actor's Hollywood Hills residence six times. During each incident, Dixon attempted to contact the "John Wick" star.
