Bugatti published a short video on the X platform as a teaser for the new model. In addition to the brand's logo and parts of the radiator grille, the video also shows the date - June 20, 2024, when the new Bugatti will be unveiled.
According to earlier announcements, the successor to the Chiron is a model designed from scratch, drawing inspiration from legends such as the Type 57 SC Atlantic, Type 41 Royale, and Type 35. It distinguishes itself by a unique combination of beauty, luxury, and performance.
The biggest attraction is the powertrain—a sixteen-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine in a V configuration instead of the W used in the Chiron and Veyron. Additionally, it will be supported by a hybrid system with three electric motors—two on the front and one on the rear axle.
Unofficially, the new V16 is said to have a capacity of 507 cubic inches and about 1,000 HP. With electric assistance, the total power will amount to almost 1,800 HP. The car will be even faster than its predecessors but also more exclusive—as planned, only 250 units will be produced.
