According to guinnessworldrecords.com, her tongue is 0.98 inches wider than its length, measured from the tip to the middle of her closed upper lip. Remarkably, 3.11 inches is the same size as the average length of a woman's entire tongue.

This record had remained unbroken for 10 years. The previous record holder was Emily Schlenker from the USA, who achieved the title as a teenager with a tongue width of 2.89 inches. A practicing lawyer, Brittany always knew she had an exceptionally large tongue. She mentioned that her family frequently joked about it when she was a child.

However, she never considered the possibility that hers might be the widest in the entire world. Everything changed when her best friend sent her a video of Emily Schlenker, inspiring Brittany to measure her own tongue.
