Britney Spears contemplates legal action after Justin Timberlake's dismissive response to her apology

The 42-year-old revealed that her ex-boyfriend did not only betray her trust but also pressured her into getting an abortion.

Even though Justin Timberlake never officially responded to these accusations, tabloids have lately reported that these revelations have disrupted his personal life.

A few days ago, Brit decided to apologize to her former partner unexpectedly.

Timberlake didn't seem to appreciate the peace offering. During his Wednesday night concert at Irving Plaza in New York, the singer shocked the audience by publicly acknowledging Spears' post.

I want to use this moment to apologize ... to absolutely no one, - he declared from the stage, indicating that the words of the "Pop Princess" didn't impact him.

A reaction from Britney did not take long to emerge. On Thursday, she posted a picture of a basketball hoop with the moon in the backdrop and added a caption underneath:
