Britney Spears showed a video as "proof" of the theft
Recently, Britney worried fans by posting a recording from the comfort of her home. This time, it was not a dance show but a report from her closet. The star showed an empty jewelry box. According to her, she was robbed.
You guys, for real, all my jewelry was stolen... It's hard for me to buy new ones now because I'm afraid they might go missing. It’s hard to buy new now because I’m scared it will go missing. So, I buy it cheap and fake, but it’s hard because some of my pieces were originally made for me… And my baby cross that I wore since I was 4 is gone … it’s so thin! - she laments.
Few trinkets have remained in Brit's collection. Among other things, the alleged thief left her a necklace depicting Mary.
Interestingly, this is not the first time Britney Spears claims she has been a victim of burglars. According to foreign media, a similar situation occurred in August 2021, before the end of the conservatorship. At that time, the singer informed the local police that she had been robbed. She withdrew the theft report after the officers arrived at her home. This time, again, she did not report the alleged crime to the authorities. At least, that's what an officer told a foreign tabloid.
Troubles for Britney Spears
The 13-year conservatorship took a heavy toll on Britney. The star is hurt and lost. However, some of her behaviors increasingly worry her loved ones and fans. It started with posting videos in which Spears danced to eerily similar choreographies. Over time, they became increasingly vulgar, just like the photos on the star's Instagram. She has already shown herself completely naked more than once, covered only by emojis.
Even more noise about Brit's condition arose when her new relationship came to light. After ending a short marriage with Sam Asghari, the singer began dating Paul Richard Soliz, who has a criminal record. Moreover, people close to Spears notice that she is unable to manage her fortune, which amounts to 60 million dollars. Apparently, the amount is depleting faster than ever before.
