The British royal family finally made a full appearance during the national celebration of the monarch's birthday. Once again, the spotlight was captured by its youngest member, who doesn't seem to be overly concerned with court etiquette. The young boy appeared uninterested in the ceremonial parade.

This is the day the British have been waiting for months. Despite various conspiracy theories about hiding the painful truth and reports about her empty calendar until the end of the year, Duchess Kate triumphantly appeared today at a state event for the first time since receiving a shocking diagnosis. Of course, participating in the Trooping the Colour parade does not mean her full return to her representative duties, but it gives great hope that she is regaining strength as she bravely fights cancer.

The 42-year-old arrived at the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage accompanied by her group of children. Familiar with royal customs, George and Charlotte did not stand out. Of course, Prince Louis, as usual on such occasions, showed his character and carefree attitude towards the rules.

About 1,500 parading soldiers? A flypast of 70 planes? The presence of drones and cameras recording this momentous event? The 6-year-old was not particularly concerned with what was happening around him. His attention was momentarily captured by a group of 400 musicians who played a cheerful melody on bagpipes. Louis was swept away by the music, happily jigging to its rhythm.

The youngest son of William and Kate was also "caught" playing with the strings of the blinds. Of course, the photographers did not miss his behavior during the official speeches and addresses either. The bored prince did not even hide his sense of wasted time, alternatively yawning and looking around. At one point, even Charlotte's attention was drawn to him, instructing her mischievous brother on how to position his hands while singing the national anthem.

9-year-old Charlotte felt obliged to explain to Louis what posture he should adopt while the anthem is being performed. Kate watched this event with a smile on her face.

Prince Louis unwittingly drew the most attention with his expressive behavior. It's no wonder he wasn't interested in the course of the ceremony, being aware that precious minutes were slipping away, which he could have spent, for example, at the playground.

The sleepiness of the 6-year-old at one point even affected his older brother. After all, yawning is contagious.

Nobody will accuse the little one of committing a faux pas. Louis's naturalness has won the sympathy of many Britons.
