Bridgerton casting director inundated with explicit audition tapes

The third season of "Bridgerton" continued the success of its predecessors and became a streaming sensation. As with previous seasons, it featured numerous erotic scenes, which the series is known for. Viewers spent over 1.5 billion hours watching the adventures of Penelope and Colin, propelling the production to the top spot of the most-watched content online for several weeks. The series' popularity is so high that fans do everything possible to secure a part in their beloved show.

Work is already underway on the subsequent parts of "Bridgerton." The creators have not yet revealed whose story will be the focus. However, several clues hint that the series may now concentrate on the fate of Francesca Bridgerton (now played by Hannah Dodd), who married John Stirling in the third season. She met his cousin, who made a tremendous impression on her. If the series' creators follow the books, Francesca will likely have a romance with her husband's cousin. Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, is also a suggested potential leading character for the fourth season.

Fans believe that erotic scenes will be plentiful in the next season if the plot centers on Benedict. Kelly Valentine Hendry, the casting director for "Bridgerton," revealed that viewers are already trying to get a role at any cost, using unprecedented methods.

In the podcast "Should I Delete That?" Hendry disclosed that obscene recordings are being sent to her email inbox. "It’s every day… I get the most unbelievable videos, unsolicited (...). It’s sex basically. It’s not actual sex but it’s quite punchy, the stuff that comes through to me. It’s not nude pictures, but not far off. It’s a bit sad, really," said the director. Fans are now focusing on getting the role of Sophie Beckett, who appears in Benedict's life in the "Bridgerton" books.
