Tragic death of a young musician during a concert
Ayres Sasaki was the evening star during a concert at the Solar Hotel in Salinopolis, Brazil. At one point, a fan rushed onto the stage and embraced the artist, who fell to the ground. It was later discovered that he was fatally electrocuted. The fan's soaked shirt caused the water to reach the electric cable connected to Sasaki's guitar.
The police reported that the artist died at the scene, but it is unknown if the fan survived. Officers are conducting an investigation to determine the circumstances. Representatives of the hotel where the concert took place issued an official statement following Sasaki's death.
We are fully dedicated to providing support to his family and taking the necessary measures. We reaffirm our commitment to fully cooperating with the competent authorities for the proper clarification of the events, the statement read.
Family members of the vocalist also spoke out on the matter. "We are contacting people who were with him at the moment to understand how everything happened. We will gather all the information in a statement that we will release to the press," they stated.
Sasaki's career was gaining momentum. Shortly after his death, one of his friends posted an emotional comment, highlighting that what set the Brazilian apart was primarily his good heart. He got married in November 2023.
What will definitely stand out about Sasaki is his good heart, very polite. I think this will be the lasting mark he leaves behind, the friend stated.
