The M2 Bradley, used by the Ukrainian army, has repeatedly shown itself to be durable and capable of competing with the best Russian tanks. This American vehicle can easily take on even the T-90M Proryv, which Putin claimed to be "the best tank in the world."
That’s not all. Numerous recordings have appeared online confirming that the Bradley is indeed one of the world's best-armored vehicles of its type. In the past, the vehicle survived without a scratch after hitting a mine. Despite the explosion, the Bradley was not immobilized. On another occasion, this American "monster" withstood a clash with a Russian T-72 tank and a BM-21 Grad launcher.
The M2 Bradley is not called a "legend" by the Ukrainians for no reason. The vehicle proves itself on the front line in every role—both as an attack vehicle and for rescuing allied troops, as confirmed by one of the latest combat recordings published by the Ukrainian Front profile on platform X.
The video shows the Bradley advancing under fire towards another immobilized and shelled combat vehicle with Ukrainian soldiers. The army quickly evacuates to the American vehicle, then drives to a safe place—still under Russian crosshairs.
M2 Bradley combat vehicle
The Bradley, already a "legend" for Ukrainians, is equipment whose history dates back to the 1970s. Back then, the American arms industry began producing combat vehicles that today are among the most sought-after worldwide and wreak havoc among the Russian Federation's forces in Ukraine.
The Bradley’s main advantage is its armament. Although its composition varies depending on the specific circumstances in which the vehicle is to be used, in its basic version, the armor is made of steel, aluminum, and composites. This composition is something that even Russian anti-tank-guided missiles cannot overcome.
Defensive capabilities are provided by the 25 mm M242 Bushmaster cannon, accompanied by a 7.2 mm machine gun. The rain of bullets from the cannon can immobilize even the most challenging opponents among the enemy ranks. Additionally, the Bradley is highly mobile, powered by an engine with either 500 or 600 horsepower, depending on the production year. It accelerates the vehicle to speeds of 44 mph on land and up to 6 mph in water.
