Bradley combat vehicles earn 'legend' status in Ukraine's defense

The M2 Bradley frequently takes the front lines in Ukraine, earning acclaim not only from the defending army. Interestingly, one of these vehicles, captured by Putin's forces, became a showcase piece paraded on a railway platform across many Russian cities. The captured Bradley was transported under Avdiivka to demonstrate the "strength of the Russian army in combating Ukrainians."

The Russian Federation's troops have significant interest in the Bradley, a testament to the American combat vehicle's value on the battlefield. In recent months, the Bradley has showcased its exceptional durability, successfully countering some of Putin's strongest tanks, including the T-90M Proryv. An incident where the vehicle remained operational after driving over a mine highlights its robust construction.

Moreover, the Bradley has proven its mettle in various confrontations. Last year, it survived an engagement with a Russian T-72 tank and emerged unscathed from an attack by a BM-21 launcher. Recently, footage surfaced online showing a Bradley withstanding two hits from anti-tank guided missiles, once again demonstrating minimal damage. Given its track record, it's understandable why Ukrainian authorities commend the Bradley for its "effectiveness in destroying the enemy," solidifying its status as a "legend" in Ukraine.

### Bradley Combat Vehicles
The esteemed M2 Bradley vehicles, considered among the most formidable armored combat vehicles worldwide, boast a history that traces back to the 1970s. Since then, these machines have been instrumental in causing ravages within the Russian military ranks.
The Bradley's offensive firepower is significantly enhanced by the M242 Bushmaster cannon, with a 25 mm (0.98 in) caliber, paired with a 7.62 mm caliber machine gun. Equipped with an engine delivering 500 or 600 horsepower—depending on the production year—the vehicle exhibits remarkable mobility across challenging terrains and can reach speeds of up to 43 mph. Its ability to navigate water effortlessly, attaining nearly 6 mph, further underscores its versatility.
An added benefit of the Bradley is its impressive range of 310 miles on a single tank of fuel. The vehicle's armory, which varies according to its designated role, features a robust armor composition of steel, aluminum, and composites. This blend offers significant protection against the typical tanks deployed by Russian forces.
