The first trailer for the highly anticipated, high-budget movie "F1" starring Brad Pitt has already hit the web. It promises to be a hit next summer.

Warner Bros. and Apple TV+ presented the first trailer for the movie about Sonny Hayes, a Formula 1 driver who returns to the track. He partners with Joshua Pearce (played by Damson Idris), who has much to learn from him. Together, they race for the fictional team APXGP.

According to Variety, filming occurred during real sports events like the British Grand Prix and the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway. Last Sunday, Brad Pitt was a special guest at the race in England and brought his new co-star, making headlines in global media. The "F1" trailer, available on Formula 1's YouTube channel, already has millions of views.

International outlets report that Lewis Hamilton, a multiple Formula 1 champion, is involved in many aspects of the film, including the script. For moviegoers, however, the most crucial information is that "F1" is directed by Joseph Kosinski, the director behind "Top Gun: Maverick".

The cinematography, handled by Claudio Miranda ("Top Gun: Maverick", "Life of Pi", "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button"), is polished and resembles a car commercial. It's clear that no expense was spared on "F1", and the studio likely has high hopes for this title. The production is managed by Jerry Bruckheimer, one of Hollywood's most influential producers ("Pirates of the Caribbean", "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F", "Bad Boys"). The film is set to hit theaters on June 25, 2025.
