Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were once Hollywood's golden couple, having first met on the set of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" in 2005. Despite the contentious start to their relationship, they soon became one of the most renowned and influential pairs in showbiz. However, after almost 12 years together, the couple parted ways in a separation that was anything but private.
Jolie has accused Pitt of both mental and physical abuse towards her and their six children. Their disputes also extended to a legal battle over the ownership of their winery, Chateau Miraval.
Did Angelina Jolie alienate the children from Pitt?
Tony Webb, Pitt's current bodyguard, revealed that two security staff members were asked to give testimony in the Pitt-Jolie case. According to Webb, during this period, Michael Vieira, Jolie's assistant, attempted to dissuade him from allowing this testimony. Vieira, allegedly acting under Jolie's direction, resorted to making threats when Webb refused.
"Vieira considered his phone call both a warning and a reminder about the confidentiality agreements these individuals had with Ms. Jolie. He instructed me to remind them, suggesting that Jolie would sue them if they testified in the family law case," documents obtained by "Us Weekly" report.
Following this conversation, Webb approached two employees, including Ross Foster, who asserted that despite the threats, he was willing to testify. Furthermore, it was hinted that Jolie actively discouraged her children from spending leisure time with Pitt.
The statement indicates that "Mr. Foster shared with me his willingness to also testify about Ms. Jolie's alleged encouragement of the children to avoid spending time with Mr. Pitt."
