Vitamin shots made from fruits and vegetables serve as an excellent method to fortify our immunity from within. Today, I have as many as three potent health potion recipes that are worth integrating into your diet.

Fall and winter are seasons when many individuals grapple with weakened immunity. Adhering to the principle of "prevention is better than cure," I look to my kitchen to maintain my health. During the typical cold and flu season, I turn to homemade vitamin-infused shots from vegetables and fruits. These nourishing drinks not only energize but also provide ample nutrients and vitamins, aiding us in fending off diseases.

Though such shots have been available in stores for quite some time, the ones brewed at home possess enhanced flavors and even offer healthier and cheaper alternatives. My concoctions would not be complete without the bactericide and virucide properties of ginger, vitamin-rich parsley, peppers, or citrus fruits, and a hint of honey.

Preparation Method:

Green Shot: I chop the cucumber into smaller chunks, leaving the skin on, and toss it into the blender cup. I add a peeled and cored apple, skin-off lime, celery, parsley, and peeled ginger, then blend all the ingredients. I strain the prepared blend through a clean cotton cloth laid over a jug.

Yellow Shot: To the blender cup, I add chopped pineapple, peeled segments of orange and lemon, skinned garlic, and ginger. I also put in honey, pour in water, and then blend.

Orange Shot: I add skinless orange segments, pieces of tangerines, chopped yellow pepper, and skinned carrot to the cup. I insert peeled ginger, pour in water, and then blend. Similar to the previous shots, I pour the mixtures into small jars.
