The season for planting cucumbers is ongoing. If you want a large yield, it's worth supporting the growth process with golden fertilizer. This will help cucumbers adapt faster to the soil and increase their resistance to external factors.

Cucumbers are one of the most commonly chosen vegetables to plant in gardens. Besides the superior taste of homegrown cucumbers compared to those from supermarkets, they are also not difficult to grow. By following a few simple rules, you can enjoy a large harvest. The so-called golden fertilizer will also aid in this process.

How to make golden fertilizer for cucumbers?

One of the most essential rules for planting cucumbers is to wait until the outside temperature is at least 64°F. The ideal conditions for their cultivation are between 72 and 75°F.

Cucumbers need all the necessary nutrients to grow properly. To provide these, you can simply make golden fertilizer and water the cucumbers with it both after planting and during flowering.

To create golden fertilizer, you need half a teaspoon of ground turmeric and half a teaspoon of baking soda. Mix the ingredients and pour a glass of warm water over them. Leave it for two hours. After this time, dilute it with approximately 50 fluid ounces of water. Water the cucumbers with this solution once every two weeks.

Prepare yeast fertilizer

Another fertilizer will make cucumbers grow vigorously. To prepare it, you need three ingredients: water, sugar, and powdered yeast.

Mix 1 quart of water with 0.39 ounces of yeast. Then, add a teaspoon of regular sugar to the solution. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are combined. Set aside the resulting fertilizer in a warm place for an hour for fermentation. After the designated time, dilute the solution with about 2.64 gallons of water. Water each seedling with approximately 15 fluid ounces of the solution to fully utilize the fertilizer's potential.
