The outcome is the electric i5 Flow Nostokana, drawing inspiration from the 1991 BMW 525 ArtCar designed by Esther Mahlangu. Remarkably, she is the first woman and African artist invited to participate in the ArtCar series.

In collaboration with Mahlangu, the new artwork features 1,349 multicolored sections, each capable of changing color independently. This marks the first time BMW has applied E-ink technology to achieve such detailed and intricate patterns.

With each section displaying one of 32 colors, the possibilities for unique designs are vast. This innovation undoubtedly opens up exciting prospects for the future, much to the delight of individualists.
