Biden's silent response to fatal strike meets Iran's loud warning of decisive retaliation
Hossein Salami, the commander of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, asserted on Wednesday that Iran will react to any threats from the United States. "We hear threats from American officials. We tell them that they have already tested us, and now we know each other, no threat will go unanswered," Salami said, as the semi-official Tasnim news agency quoted.

Iran's ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, also issued a warning to the Americans. "Tehran will respond decisively to any attack on its territory, interests, or Iranian citizens abroad," the diplomat stated.
The remarks from Iranian representatives are most likely in reaction to a statement from the President of the United States, who announced on Tuesday that he had already decided on how to react to the drone attack executed in Jordan. However, Biden did not disclose any specifics.
Three American soldiers were killed and several dozen people were injured as a result of the strike on Tower 22 base in Jordan. The attack was attributed to an Iraqi group allied with Iran. Iran's UN mission declared on Monday that Tehran was not involved in the attack on Jordan, as reported by Reuters.
