Biden's blunt words for Putin spark outrage in Russia
The pro-Kremlin Russian agency TASS published a dispatch dedicated to Joe Biden's speech on Saturday at the United States Military Academy at West Point. The U.S. President, in accordance with the facts, called Vladimir Putin a "cruel tyrant." This caused outrage among Russian propagandists.

"We are standing strong with Ukraine and we will stand with them. We are standing against a man who I have known well for many years, a brutal tyrant, and we will not walk away," said Biden at West Point, reminding of the crimes committed in Ukraine by the army sent there by Putin. The Russian TASS, however, seems to ignore this in their commentary.
The dispatch, which was given the bizarre title" Biden publicly insulted Putin," stated that "President Joe Biden once again used offensive words towards the Russian leader Vladimir Putin during a speech to the United States Military Academy graduates at West Point."

Propagandists from the TASS agency are outraged by Biden's words, although the American president has repeatedly called out Putin using strong language.
His statement before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia had a significant impact. Already in March 2021, Biden indirectly called Putin a "killer". Then, in February 2024, the American leader described the dictator from Moscow in an unprintable way, calling him a "mad [expletive]".
