Officially, the 47-year-old Kadyrov is married to the approximately 45-year-old Medni Musaevna (her exact birth date is unknown). They married in 1996, and since then, Medni has not appeared publicly. The marriage has produced twelve children, including two adopted ones.
Unofficially, Ramzan Kadyrov is said to have married at least one more time. His second wife is Fatima Khazuyeva. He met her when she was just 14 years old at a beauty contest where she took second place. At the age of 15, Khazuyeva is said to have given birth to his first child.
The leader of Chechnya is reported to have had multiple sexual relations with girls much younger than himself, including minors. He prefers virgins, schoolgirls, or first-year students – reports the Nexta Agency on the platform X.
Kadyrov and the rounding up of girls on the streets of Grozny
Journalists from the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) have traced that the leader of Chechnya has at least a dozen concubines in his "harem" and has a preference for teenage girls.
When Ramzan first became head of the republic, girls were rounded up for him on the streets. He took their virginity, and since then, they have lived with the stigma of being former concubines – reports the Nexta Agency on the platform X.
And this is just the tip of the iceberg of reports that periodically emerge from Chechnya. Several girls are said to have given birth to his children.
In 2006, 14-year-old Fatima Khazuyeva became his concubine. A year later, at the age of 15, she gave birth to her first child. In 2008, 16-year-old Zamira Dzabrailova gave birth to Adam Ramzan – reports the Nexta Agency.
Comply or die
Girls who do not follow Kadyrov's orders die under unexplained circumstances. Such was the fate of young Zaneta Mukueva, who was shot dead in her hometown in 2003. She was said to be pregnant. The perpetrators of the murder were never found.
