Everyone has probably heard of so-called energy vampires that drain energy from their surroundings. It turns out that a similar phenomenon can sometimes be observed in the bedroom. So, how can you recognize a "sexual vampire"?

If our partner belongs to this "energy vampires" group, we will feel chronic fatigue and lose joy from work, love, and everyday life. In the end, we might experience a state close to depression.

Sharing a bed with a "sexual vampire" is also not an ideal scenario. You might feel anxious after a passionate night that should leave you satisfied. What else characterizes a "sexual vampire," and how can you recognize that you are dealing with one?

To gain energy, they deprive their partner of it

A so-called sexual vampire is someone who has emotional blockages. Unable to deal with them, they treat sex as a way to escape their everyday fears and problems momentarily. During intimate encounters, they absorb positive energy from their partner, which sustains them for some time.

Ancient Tantra was already familiar with this concept. According to beliefs, a "sexual vampire" could only derive pleasure by taking energy from another person without giving anything in return. Once satisfied, they disappear, returning only when they need to satisfy their appetite again.

How to recognize a sexual vampire?

It turns out that three behaviors can indicate you are dealing with a so-called sexual vampire. The first "red flag" is how quickly you become addicted to this person in a way that is toxic for you. Do you feel immediately enchanted and loved, even though the other person hides their intentions? Be careful because you might have encountered a "vampire."

The second warning signal is avoiding a relationship. The "vampire" feeds on the illusion of love and shows "affection" only when you are alone. They won't go on a date in a public place and are not ready for a relationship, but they will still drag you to the bedroom. They will immediately sense your weaknesses and cleverly exploit them. Of course, they push difficult, severe conversations to the back burner, deceiving and manipulating you to achieve their goal.

The third behavior is particularly characteristic. Do you cut off from the "vampire"? They will suddenly come back into your life, acting like a victim, rejected and punished for their love, thus provoking your sense of guilt. In reality, they are only looking to satisfy their hunger.
